The EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change has more than 300 Mission Charter signatories, of which close to 290 represent regions and local authorities that have declared their willingness to take steps towards achieving climate resilience in their regions and communities. To support regions and communities in achieving this ambition, the EU has funded several projects to provide support services to Charter signatories and beyond in the different steps of the journey.
This meeting invites three projects that provide support to regions and communities to present the support services and opportunities that they offer to regions. The MIP4Adapt Platform will present the support that is provided within the Community of Practice as well as their Technical Assistance, which focuses on stakeholder engagement, development of climate adaptation plans, and access to financial support for the implementation of adaptation projects. The CLIMAAX project will present its support, including financial support, to regions for their climate risk assessment work. Finally, the Pathways2Resilience project will present how the programme will fund and support up to 100 regions in the development of their pathways toward climate resilience. The agenda is available on the right-hand side.
The meeting will be hybrid, which means that members can choose whether to attend online or in person. Please keep in mind that the contribution to the Q&A session might be limited for online participants. To register in person, please fill in the standard webform on your right-hand side.
