The large-scale deployment of sustainable and circular hydrogen is crucial for the European Union to reach climate neutrality by 2050 and reduce energy dependency, which aligns with the European Green Deal and the REPowerEU plan.
To foster discussion on these issues, the Clean Hydrogen Partnership is organising a webinar on 8 May 2025, from 14:00 to 16:00.
The event will feature insights from the European Hydrogen Sustainability and Circularity Panel (EHS&CP) established by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. Experts will discuss key challenges in advancing hydrogen sustainability and circularity, focusing on clean hydrogen production, decarbonisation of transportation and resource efficiency.
The session will also highlight findings from the SH2E and eGHOST projects, offering perspectives on hydrogen life cycle analysis (LCA) and eco-design. It will also include contributions from the Joint Research Centre (JRC) on hydrogen sustainability.
