EU4health Stakeholders’ event

Where? Online

When? July 8, 2022 10:00 am

The EU4Health programme was adopted as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to reinforce crisis preparedness in the EU. The pandemic highlighted the fragility of national health systems. The EU4Health programme will bring a contribution to the long-term health challenges by building stronger, more resilient and more accessible health systems.

Health is an investment and, with a €5.3 billion budget during the 2021-27 period, the EU4Health programme is an unparalleled EU financial support in the health area. EU4Health is a clear message that public health is a priority for the EU and it is one of the main instruments to pave the way to a European Health Union.

Each year a targeted consultation is launched to seek opinion of stakeholders about current and future EU health priorities and strategic orientations and on key health needs to be addressed through
EU4Health annual Work Programmes, providing inputs for reflection on the Work Programme under preparation and beyond.

This webinar is the opportunity for participants to provide their input on the most burning health issues in the EU and how to address them. The outcomes of the consultation and of this webinar will serve as
inputs for the preparation of the 2023 Work Programme, but they also serve for nurturing the reflection on priorities, strategic orientations and needs for next Work Programmes.

The webinar is open to all relevant stakeholders: NGOs, associations, businesses, Member States’ policymakers, patients’ organisations, etc.

Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive the connection details.
The session will be recorded and made available on the EU4Health website.
