Mark your calendars for the European Mission Soil Week 2024 that will be held on 12-13 November 2024 in Brussels (BluePoint Brussels, Blvd Auguste Reyers 80, 1030 Brussels).
These two days will include engaging activities, keynote interventions, panel discussions, networking, and more!
On 14 November, there will be an exclusive side event, open to Mission Soil funded projects only, featuring cluster meetings on data and knowledge management, soil indicators and monitoring, as well as communication and stakeholder engagement.
Why are soils important?
Soils are essential for all life-sustaining processes on our planet. If soils are healthy and managed sustainably, they provide essential environmental, economic, and social benefits for society.

What is the Mission Soil?
The EU Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ (Mission Soil) is one of five Missions funded under the EU Research and Innovation (R&I) Programme Horizon Europe. Its goal is to create 100 Living Labs and Lighthouses by 2030 to promote sustainable land and soil management in urban and rural areas.
