Floating Wind Conference in Haugesund

At this two-day conference we will look at how power produced from floating offshore wind technology can be the star of the global energy mix. We invite the offshore wind industry from all over the world to discuss the latest innovation, challenges, and solutions.
 
Network with other major players, innovators, policy makers and more. In addition to the conference there will be an evening networking event at a nearby island, and an excursion to the Met Center. 
 
We conclude the first day with a short boat trip to a small island called Vibransdøy, where attendees can get better acquainted over music and dinner. Haugesund can be seen in the distance as attendees take in the beautiful ocean view.  
 
On the second day we will have an excursion to the MET Center off the coast of Norway. The MET Center is recognized as a world leading North Sea test center for testing new marine renewable energy technologies such as floating wind power, solar energy and wave energy under various conditions. The test center provides concessions, infrastructure and services required for testing in deep waters (200+ metres).
