ERRIN’s ICT Working Group is organising an in-person meeting on digital and cybersecurity skills on Wednesday 15 November, from 14:30 to 16:00.
In the last decade, the digital transformation of our societies has underlined the critical need for digital skills and competencies at all levels. This is particularly true in the field of cybersecurity, where experts from the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) evaluated that the EU’s cybersecurity workforce is lacking around 900,000 professionals. Over the last year and in the frame of the European Year of Skills, the European Commission has notably put forward several proposals addressing digital skills in general but also cybersecurity skills.
This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss and exchange on good practices regarding digital and cybersecurity skills with representatives from the European Commission and different initiatives implemented in the field.
