The Norwegian Defence and Security Industries Association (FSi), a member of the EOA consortium, in cooperation with NORDEFCO (chaired by Norway), is organising the Nordic EDF Info Day on 28 January 2026, followed by an on-site EDF matchmaking event on 29 January 2026.
28 January – EDF Info Day
The Info Day offers participants a comprehensive dive into the EDF 2026 Work Programme, including:
- An overview of the EDF programme and upcoming calls for 2026, presented by the European Commission.
- Updates on:
- The implementation of SAFE – the European Defence Industry Reinforcement through Common Procurement Act.
- The upcoming European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP).
- The Defence Industry Transformation Roadmap.
- Commission proposals for defence industrial programmes in the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
- Nordic government presentations on national approaches to EDF 2026, to facilitate clarity and cooperation.
- Guidance and Q&A opportunities regarding administrative and legal aspects of the EDF.
- Success stories from Nordic companies previously involved in EDF projects.
- A networking social event in the evening for all Info Day participants.
