Gjesdal kommune

Gjesdal er en av landets største sauekommuner, og kommunen har en lang historie innen ull- og tekstilindustrien. Værhodet i kommunevåpenet symboliserer dette. Kommunesenteret Ålgård ligger ved E39 og en høy andel av innbyggerne bor her.
